FAQ

my computer is not responding, what should i do?

Typically your computer freezes when a certain program hogs system resources to the point where normal operation is affected. You can remedy this by force quitting the suspected program, if unsuccessful, you can hard reset your computer by pressing and holding the power button for around 5 seconds. This will shutdown the electrical supply to the computer so that you can then turn it back on.

i can't seem to connect to the internet

Check that your Ethernet cable is securely plugged into your computer and router. If the physical connections are secure unplug the power cord from your modem/router and wait 30 seconds before reconnecting the power supply. Give your modem 2-5 minutes to restart before testing your connection again. If your Internet is still not working restart your computer or call your ISP to verify the network is operational in your area.

my wifi is very weak in some areas

Depending on the size of your home/business one wireless router might not be sufficient in providing wireless coverage. If possible, place your wireless router in the centre of your coverage area. If it can't be relocated the best solution is to purchase a more powerful router or extend the existing wireless network via access points.
